2019 Autumn Admissions Timeline
The dates and deadlines below are for the application to the programs that start in the autumn of of every year
* Note that all programs are available in the Autumn Semester.
Online Application & Submission
Deadline: March 15th to June 30th, 2019 (of every year)
* Note that the courses will start in September 2019.
Procedures
If you want to get the admission qualification of the school of Sociology of Huazhong University of science and technology, the following is the specific procedure:
1. Login the online application system http://admission.hust.edu.cn/ and upload the required documents and submit your application. The documents required are as follows:
(1) One photocopy of your passport
(2) An official certificate of your highest education
(3) Senior school report, national college entrance examination report, international examination report and relevant education report
(4) Personal statement/CV
(5) Language Proficiency certificate (English native speakers are exempted for English-medium programs)
(6) Financial Certification (certificate of deposit for 3,000 USD or above)
(7) Physical Examination Report
(8) Certificate of Non-criminal Record
*Note that all certificates or Diploma issued in the third language should be notarized in Chinese or English editions.
2. Reviewed by the school of international education: The school of International Education will examine your passport to see if you meet the international student status; the school of International Education will comprehensively review whether the application materials you submitted are true and complete, and whether your scores meet the minimum admission requirements; the school of International Education will report the qualified personnel to Wuhan entry exit administration bureau and the Ministry of education for verification. Applicant fails to pass any of the above steps, you will be rejected directly
3. If you meet the admission criteria set by the school of Sociology, The school of International Education will report to the school for approval before making the admission materials.

HUST International Student Office will send Admission Notice and Visa Application Form ASAP.

Applicants for Bachelor’s degree should be senior high school graduates or above and under the age of 30.

Good command of English; TOEFL, GRE, IELTS or other official English tests recognized by HUST.
Admissions Decision
Admission results can be checked in the application system at http://admission.hust.edu.cn/. And the HUST International Student Office will send Admission Notice and Visa Application Form ASAP.
