In order to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and people around the world and promote China’s exchange and cooperation with other countries in various fields, the Chinese government sets up scholarships for talented students and scholars to pursue higher education or conduct research in Chinese universities.

Application Process

1.Complete online application at China Scholarship Council (CSC) Information System (http://www.campuschina.org/), submit and download the application form.

2.Upload the <Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship> and complete the HUST online application at http://admission.hust.edu.cn/.

3.Wait for the evaluation result and announcement notice via the HUST application system.

*Notes：

(1)Scholarship Program Category: B

(2) Scholarship Coverage: tuition, accommodation, stipend and comprehensive medical insurance.

(3) HUST Agency No.:10487.

(4) Hard copies are NOT accepted.

(5) Please do NOT post your scholarship application to HUST.

(6)Acceptance letter is not a necessary condition to obtain CSC scholarship. If you do need one, please firstly submit relevant documents in HUST's international student application system.Then make a statement of your preferred supervisor and email to us at isosc@hust.edu.cn.
